My chimney started leaking during heavy rains, and 2nd Chance fixed the issue quickly and affordably. They got here quickly for the estimate and did a patch the same day so it wasn't continuing to leak while we waited for new flashing to be fabricated. The estimator also noted additional potential issues I wasn't aware of, and bundled that fix into the flashing repair project. Very thoughtful! The repairs were scheduled and completed efficiently, with clear commuication the whole time. The chimney cleaning and inspection was also efficent and afforable. Will use and recommend these guys again for sure.

Expert Window Replacement in Rome, NY
Window replacement in Rome, NY is a practical upgrade that protects your home year-round. Central New York winters bring heavy snow, freezing temperatures, and damp conditions that wear down older windows fast. Drafts, condensation, and water intrusion around frames are common signs that your windows need replacing. At 2nd Chance Roofing LLC, we assess each opening, remove the old unit, and install a properly fitted replacement that seals against Rome's cold winters and wet shoulder seasons. We work on single-family homes across Rome and handle everything from the initial measurement to the final seal check. Older homes in the area often have original single-pane windows that let heat escape and drive up energy bills. Replacing those units with properly rated windows cuts that heat loss and reduces strain on your heating system. If your windows are sticking, leaking air, or showing frame rot, call 2nd Chance Roofing LLC to schedule your window replacement assessment in Rome today.

FAQ

Common questions about window replacement in Rome, NY.
Replacement is the right call when frames show rot, glass is cracked, or seals have failed and fog appears between panes. Rome homes with original single-pane windows almost always benefit more from full replacement than repeated repairs.
Yes, we work on older Rome homes where window openings may be non-standard sizes that require careful measuring before ordering. We assess each opening before any work begins to make sure the replacement fits correctly.
Yes, replacing old or failing windows reduces the amount of heat that escapes through gaps, poor seals, and single-pane glass. Rome winters are long and cold, so tighter windows make a real difference in how hard your heating system has to work.
We can replace a single problem window or handle a full-house project for Rome homeowners. The scope depends on your home's needs, which we confirm during the initial assessment.
We inspect the surrounding frame and rough opening before installation to catch any rot or structural damage in Rome homes. Any compromised framing material is addressed so the new window has a solid, weathertight fit.
Yes, we ask that a homeowner or authorized adult be present during the work so we can walk through the project and address any questions on the spot. This helps us confirm details specific to your Rome property before we begin.
